Besan Rava Panjiri

1/2 cup – rava
1 cup – besan
2 cup – sugar
1/2 cup – dry fruits like almonds,cashewnuts (crushed)
1 tbsp – ghee
1 tbsp – gond (gum)
1/2 tsp – cardamom powder
Directions
In a pan on a low heat, heat ghee add rava, stir it and cook until it is roasted.
Add besan and roast it.
Stir the mixture continuously
In a seperate pan heat 1 tsp of ghee.
Fry gond in the ghee and crush it; add it to the dry fruit mix.
Add this mix to rava besan mixture.
In a saucepan take 1&1/2 cups of water and 2 cups of sugar.
Boil until you get 1 tar chashni
Add the above mix in the sugar solution and stir continuously.
Remove to a plate and sprinkle with cardamom powder and dry fruit.
Allow to cool and cut into diamond shapes.
