Colocasia chips

600 g – colocacia (preferably round of medium size)
salt
1 tbsp – red chilli powder mixed with 3 cloves of crushed garlic
oil to deep fry chips
Directions
Wash the colocasia thoroughly
With a potato scraper, scrape the outer skin and wipe with a cloth.
Slice them into thin chips with the help of a chips slicer.
In a deep fat fryer heat the oil and cook until a golden colour.
Remove to a deep pan or basin.
Mix salt & red chilli powder (mixed with crushed garlic)
While the potatoes are still hot sprinkle the mix over them gently tossing the chips so they are evenly coated.
