Curried Turai with dumplings

250g – turai
100g – besan flour
1 – tomato
1 tsp – cumin seed
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp – turmeric powder
2/3 tsp – red chilli powder
1 tsp – coriander powder
1 tbsp – oil for cooking
1 cup – coriander leaves
Directions
For the dumplings:
In a mixing bowl add the besan flour; add salt and spices as per taste.
Add a little water and knead into dough and make small balls/dumplings
For the curry:
Peel and cut turai into cubes
On a low heat, heat oil in the pan, add cumin seeds
Make puree of the tomato
When the cumin seeds start crackling, add tomato puree, salt and spices.
Once the gravy is boiling, add chopped turai, coriander leaves and mix well.
Add some water and place dumplings in, cook until the turai has become tender.
