Dal Halwa

225g – mix daal(chana, tur, yellow moong)
2 tbsp – ghee
100g – sugar
60g – fresh grated coconut
1 tsp – cardomom powder
10g – black dry monnaca
Directions
In a pan of water boil the dal. Strain off the water.
Crush the dals a bit.
In a pan heat ghee
Add the grated coconut fry until it turns brown.
Then add the crushed dal mixture, cardomom powder, sugar and stirring continuously until it leaves the sides of pan.
Spread it on the thaali and sprinkle with monnaca.
