200 grm. Urad (black) dal
300 grm. red beans
250 grm. onions
50 grm. ginger (Adrak)
100 grm. tomatoes
60 grm green chilies
100 grm. butter/ghee
7 clove garlic (Lehsan)
Method
Overnight soak both the dal and the red beans. Drain and boil until the dal becomes soft.
Chop the ginger, green chillies, onions and tomatoes. Fry them all together in the butter/ghee until they brown.
Then add the boiled dal and red beans and simmering for 8-10 minutes.
