Kesari Modak

1& 1/2 cup – besan
1 cup – sugar
1/2 cup – water
1 pinch – yellow colour
10 to 12 – kesar threads
raisins
Directions
With the sugar and water make a thick syrup
Add yellow colour and kesar to it and keep it aside.
In a pan on a low heat fry ghee and besan until besan turns golden brown.
Remove from the stove.
Add some sugar syrup to the mixture and knead well.
Now take a small quantity of mixture in hand and shape as modhak.
Sprinkle with raisins.
