Mirchi Bajji

300 g – besan
14 – green chillies, long and big
1/2 tsp – ajwain
1/2 tbsp – rice flour
1/2 tsp – red chilli powder
1/4 tsp – baking soda
salt
For stuffing:
1 tbsp – grated coconut
1 – onion, chopped very fine
1 tbsp – chopped coriander leaves
a pinch amchur powder
a pinch garam masala
Directions
Mix both the flours with salt, red chilli powder, 1/4tsp of ajwain and baking soda
Add a little water to prepare bajji batter and place to one side.
Slit chillies, remove the seeds, and also place to one side.
Prepare stuffing with grated coconut, chopped onion, chopped coriander, remaining ajwain, amchur powder, garam masala and some salt.
Fill the chillies with the stuffing
Dip the stuffed chillies in the batter & deep fry them till they become light golden brown in colour
When done place them on paper napkin to absorb extra oil.
