Moong Beans

50g – yellow moong dal
200g – french beans
1 cup – coriander leaves
3 to 4 – garlic pods
1 onion
1 tsp – coriander powder
1 tsp – red chilli powder
1/4 tsp – turmeric powder
Salt as per taste
1 tsp – cumin
Oil for cooking
Directions
Soak the moong dal for 30 minutes
Chop French beans
In a pan heat oil; add the crushed garlic, cumin
When the seeds crackle, add chopped onion and sauté
When onions turn brown, add the salt and all the spices
Mix well and add the moong and beans
Keep mixing and add 1/2 cup of water
Cover and cook until done
