250g – peas
1 – potato
1 – onion
1 – tomato
1 cup – coriander leaves
Salt as per taste
1 tsp – coriander powder
1 tsp – red chilli powder
1/2 tsp – turmeric powder
1/2 tsp – garam masala
1 tsp – cumin seeds
Oil for cooking
Directions
Boil the peas and crush it into thick paste
In a pan heat 1 tbsp mustard in oil
Put in the cumin seeds
Once the seeds start crackling, add chopped onion
When onions are done, add the tomato puree, salt and all spices apart from garam masala.
When the masala starts bubbling, add potatoes and crushed peas
Cook on slow heat covered with lid.
When done, add the garam masala and coriander leaves.
