Onion Pudina Pakodas

1 – medium-sized onion (finely chopped)
1 – bunch pudina/mint leaves (finely chopped, make sure there are no stalks)
6 – green chillies finely chopped into tiny pieces
A handful of dry peanuts
A pinch of chaat masala (optional)
For the batter:
Two cups of Besan/Gram flour
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
One cup water
Salt to taste
Directions
Mix all the ingredients for the batter in a bowl with water to make a fine paste
To the batter add the chopped onions, mint leaves, green chillies, and peanuts mixing well
Heat enough oil in a kadai for deep frying.
Take a small handful of the batter, enough to make a ball and slip it into the oil.
Repeat until the batter with all the other ingredients are finished.
Fry till golden brown
