Rava kesari

1 cup – Rava
2 cup – Sugar
1 cup – Ghee
2 cup – Milk
1 cup – Water
12 – Cashew nuts
12 – Raisins
1/4 tsp Food colour or kesari powder
2 tsp – Cardamom
Directions
In a heavy pan fry rava for 5 minutes.
Add 1 tbsp ghee, fry for a further 5 minutes; keep aside.
Heat ghee in a kadai, add cashew nuts and raisins fry for a minute.
Add milk, water and food colour.
Allow it to boil.
Reduce the heat, add sugar.
Once the sugar dissolves, add rava keeping a low heat.
Mix well, add some ghee and cardamom powder.
Mix well on medium flame.
