Rosy Ladoo

160g – desiccated coconut
75 g – sugar or to taste
3/4 cup – fresh desi rose petals
1 & 1/2 cup – water
1 tsp – rose water
1/2 tsp – edible food colour (optional)
2 tsp – rose syrup (optional)
Directions
Grind rose petals with a little water.
Make sugar syrup, rose syrup with sugar and water.
When sugar is dissolved in water, add coconut and rose paste.
Add colour (optional).
On a low heat cook the mixture until is quiet thick.
When the mixture leaves the corner of pan, remove from heat and add rose water.
Leave to cool. Then divide into small portions and roll into round balls.
