6 slices of bread
6-8 tbs sugar
dry fruit–Pistachio,almond
kevera essence
khoya or cream (Riccota cheese)
3-4 tbs oil
5-6 green cardamom seeds (Chhoti Ilaichi)
yellow food colour
1 litre of milk
Method
In a little oil fry the slices of bread until they are a light brown, remove and set to one side.
In a pot add the milk, illaichi seeds and colour cook this until it becomes thick.
Place the bread in the milk and bring to the boil, turning over to coat both sides.
Allow the milk to soften, then add the kevera.
