Sweet banana bajji

1 medium sized banana (ripe)
1 cup – semolina/rawa
1/4 cup – jaggery (grated)
A few broken pieces of cashew (optional)
1/2 tsp – fennel seeds, optional
1/2 tsp – cardamom powder
Salt, a pinch
Oil for frying
Directions
Mash the banana in a bowl.
Then add the grated jaggery and using your fingers mix well.
Now add the broken cashew, cardamom powder, fennel seeds and a pinch of salt.
Finally add the semolina and bind it into dough.
Keep to one side.
Heat oil in a pan.
Once oil is hot enough, slowly put small balls of the banana dough into the oil and fry until brown.
Place on paper napkins to drain off excess oil.
